Gavriella - A Friend in Need

Hi everyone!

My name is Julianna, and I am setting up this GoFundMe for my dear friend Gavriella. I’ve only known her for a little over a year, but I can truly say that she has been the best friend anyone could ask for, and I am beyond blessed to have met her. I know many of you can say the same!

That being said, she is facing a really challenging time in her life now. Gav has been dealing with a rare autoimmune disease called autoimmune hepatitis. She first learned of her diagnosis at the age of seventeen, but the disease seemed to go into remission for years. Sadly, it has begun to affect her liver again. Her doctors have now informed her that she is in the end-stage of liver failure.

Right now, the focus is on keeping her as healthy as possible for as long as possible. She will be meeting with a liver transplant team in the next couple of days, with the most likely course of action being a liver transplant as soon as possible.

We are facing a lot of unknowns, but the one thing we do know for certain is that Gav has so many people who love and care for her!

If you can contribute monetarily in any way, it would go a long way towards taking some of the burdens like medical bills, groceries, and housing off of Gav’s shoulders.

One of our goals is to also raise money for a family photo shoot so Gav can have some family portraits of her and her three boys.

We are also working on ways people can volunteer to help in other ways like meal trains or even just stopping by to visit to keep her spirits up!
